Ray is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margaret (Davenport) Luciani and his children, Lucille Cooney, Washington, D.C. He enjoyed traveling in his retirement visiting many family and friends. He had coached Candor Little League for many years. He was a charter member of The Candor Monday Night Golf League. He was a member of the McKendree Methodist Church in Candor, American Legion Post #907 in Candor and the VFW Post #1371 in Owego. He had served in the US Army in Patton's Third Army during WWII and was involved in the battle of Black Forest in 1944. and had worked at the Big M in Spencer, N.Y.
